Woodside Hall resident’s venue of choice for their outing was the Hydro Hotel in Eastbourne.
Residents were able to enjoy a particularly special backdrop with its beautiful sea views from the conservatory whilst they enjoyed coffee and cake (or Guinness for one of our residents).
Outings like these enable residents to connect in a different environment and there is always a lovely sociable atmosphere that lifts the group.

“I just wanted to say thank you so much for the unexpected (but lovely) photos of the residents you took for tea to the Hydro the other day. I was so pleased to see Dad there and was a lovely surprise.
I’m not sure if you are aware, but the Hydro was the most special place for Mum and Dad. They spent many happy holidays/weddings anniversaries/ new year’s together there, and the extended family also joined them on some of these occasions. It has given us many happy memories to cherish, and I really hope Dad had a lovely time revisiting it again.
